The Medical Council of India intended to conduct a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for entrance into Under Graduate Medical Degree colleges. However, the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association has managed to obtain an interim order from the High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore, by which the above notification of the Medical Council of India has been stayed. Following which, it was announced that the Entrance Test for Under Graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Degrees (COMEDK 2012) in respect of member institutions would be held on 6th May 2012.
The start date for issue of Online Application would be 10th March, 2012 and further updates should be available from 15th February, 2012.
